About Postgradtruth.in

Most sites about postgraduate courses earn money from the colleges they describe. This one doesn't. It exists to answer one question honestly: is this degree worth what it will cost you?

What it does

For GATE M.Tech, CUET PG and IIT JAM masters, medical PG, MBA, LLM, MS abroad and career switches, it puts the full cost next to the likely outcome: fees, hostel and living costs, the salary you give up, loan interest and tax, against stipends and realistic salaries afterwards. Then it tells you how long it takes to be whole again, including when the answer is "never".

How the numbers are checked

Each college's figures carry a label: verified against the institution's own circular or NIRF data, estimated, or not checked yet. Unchecked colleges are listed, because people still apply to them, but they're never scored or rated. The methodology page shows the current counts straight from the data, including the unflattering ones.
